High Value SG

Players costing $6,667 or under

Malcolm Brogdon (at SAC – $6,400): Needs 27.7 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 30.9 fantasy points against Chicago. You typically know what you’re going to get from Brogdon. He’s going to be around 30 fantasy points and the ceiling can be higher. If Giannis plays, he’s a more reliable player but if Giannis is out, he has a higher ceiling. The matchup is good either way because the Kings keep up the pace and that will lend itself to plenty of DFS points. On a big night like Wednesday, you’ll need a couple of reliable options. Diagnosis: Very reliable with a good ceiling.

Dion Waiters (vs GS – $5,700): Needs 24.7 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 29.3 fantasy points against Phoenix. Waiters has settled into a nice rhythm as of late and he typically plays well against the Warriors. He had 36.6 fantasy points against them on Feb. 10. I also like Wade if you want to spend some extra money. It’s his last time against the Warriors and he always raises his game against them. But Waiters is right there with him. Diagnosis: Reliable with a high ceiling.

Luke Kennard (at SA – $5,300): Needs 22.9 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 31.8 fantasy points against Indiana. I don’t know what is going on with the Spurs but I know it’s not good. I expect them to be better at home, but if they aren’t the Pistons are playing fairly well right now and Kennard is definitely providing strong production and getting plenty of minutes. He feels like a guy who is going to hurt the Spurs if they aren’t up to their usual standard. Diagnosis: Reliable with a high ceiling.
