Dwayne Haskins, QB, Ohio State

Height: 6 feet 3 inches

Weight: 220lbs

While Kyler Murray’s measurables will draw questions, Dwayne Haskins will find this part of the process pretty smooth. He has ideal measurements for the quarterback position, and when compared to Murray will have a decided advantage in that area.

Any team concerned by Murray’s lack of height will instantly be drawn to Haskins. This will be one notch in the win column for Haskins on every team’s list.

The next area where Haskins should stand out is the throwing part of the Combine. He’s an extremely accurate thrower with good arm strength. Haskins should be able to overcome the disadvantages of throwing at the Combine.

This is something that could again push Haskins ahead in any quarterback race for the 2019 draft. He committed to throwing over a week ago.

The area where Haskins will come up short when compared to Murray is the athletic drills. Murray is an elite athlete where Haskins is average at best. He’s someone who can move around in the pocket, but doesn’t represent a major threat with his legs.

Haskins uses his legs to extend the play and give his receivers more time to find space. Murray, on the other hand, will tuck and run picking up big chunks of yards.
