DraftKings daily picks: Fantasy basketball lineup – February 28, 2019
High Salary C
Players costing over $6,250
Nikola Jokic (vs UTA – $10,000): Needs 48.3 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 66.75 fantasy points against Oklahoma City. It’s a strong night at center and I’m not going to be able to list everyone but I’ll touch on various players in these descriptions, so pay attention. I like Clint Capela if Hassan Whiteside is out. He’s been spotty since returning, but not Whiteside should give him more room. As for Jokic, he costs a lot, but you can always build around him with confidence. Gobert can be a tough matchup but it’s a back-to-back for the Jazz and I’m stanning Jokic for MVP. Diagnosis: Very reliable with a high ceiling.
Nikola Vucevic (vs GS – $9,300): Needs 44.9 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 58.75 fantasy points against New York. Cousins was rested on Wednesday so you could look towards him into this matchup as he continues to look better with every passing game. But I love the way Vucevic plays and he’s been rolling this year. And maybe Cousins, who still isn’t fully back, struggles with such another low-post threat. More than anything, I’m not doubting Vucevic. Diagnosis: Very reliable with a high ceiling.
Mitchell Robinson (vs CLE – $6,400): Needs 30.9 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 54 fantasy points against Orlando. The DFS has finally caught on to Mitchell Robinson as he’s jumped to a high salary spot. The salary still isn’t high enough for the production he typically gives you, assuming the Knicks don’t play him 13 minutes for some reason. I also like Steven Adams, who should have plenty of room to maneuver without Embiid or Boban. But Mitchell has Cleveland, which is a good matchup on just about every night. Diagnosis: Very reliable with a high ceiling.
