Players costing $6,250 or under

Jamal Murray (vs UTA – $6,200): Needs 29.3 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 35.25 fantasy points against Oklahoma City. Murray has played himself into a nice rhythm and he sneaks in order the salary line. This is a good matchup for the Nuggets because they are rested while the Jazz are on a back-to-back. Murray can be inconsistent but I always trust the Nuggets at home because, well, have you seen their home record? Diagnosis: Very reliable with a good ceiling.

Jordan Clarkson (at NY – $5,100): Needs 24.1 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 30.25 fantasy points against Portland. Aside from a tough outing against Memphis, Clarkson has been fantastic over the last few weeks for the Cavaliers. And now he gets the Knicks. This should be a strong scoring night for Clarkson and you can pair him with Sexton if you want to get reliable production with a good chance that one of them will hit big. Clarkson is my preferred player of the two. Diagnosis: Very reliable with a high ceiling.

D.J. Augustin (vs GS – $4,500): Needs 21.7 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 30.25 fantasy points against New York. Augustin has been playing well over the last three games, going over 28 fantasy points in each contest. When the minutes are there, the production usually follows. And the minutes should be there against a tough Warriors squad. The Magic are a scrappy bunch and the Warriors are on a back-to-back. Augustin could hit in a big way. Diagnosis: Very reliable with a good ceiling.
