High Salary SG

Players costing over $6,250

James Harden (vs MIA – $11,000): Needs 52 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 50.25 fantasy points against Charlotte. You need a big game out of Harden to justify this salary and I’m never going to doubt Harden. But with Paul and Capela back, he doesn’t have to do as much. And he’s not shooting the ball too well right now. But the scoring will be there and he’ll get his assists. Diagnosis: Reliable with a high ceiling.

Steph Curry (at ORL – $9,100): Needs 43 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 38 fantasy points against Miami. It’s a back-to-back for the Warriors against a rested Magic squad but the Warriors are the Warriors for a reason. And you typically know what you’re going to get from Curry. He never lacks for opportunities and he can catch fire at any moment. He’s going to get you solid production just because of the team he’s on and his role in the offense. But it may not be enough because of the team he’s on. Diagnosis: Reliable with a high ceiling.

Klay Thompson (at ORL – $6,500): Needs 30 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 49.5 fantasy points against Miami. If you don’t want to spend on Curry, you can always go with Thompson. He doesn’t have the same offensive impact but his assist numbers have ticked up and he never lacks for shots either. He’s typically a reliable option for the same reasons Curry is a reliable option, he’s just at a more affordable price. Diagnosis: Very reliable with a good ceiling.
