High Salary SF

Players costing over $6,250

Paul George (vs PHI – $10,400): Needs 48.4 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 57.5 fantasy points against Denver. George is in the middle of a shooting slump but he still gets his scoring numbers and he always chips in with rebounds, assists, and defense. He loves going head-to-head against Butler and with no Embiid or Boban, the paint should be wide open for him and Westbrook to attack. And yet it’ll be a competitive game because it’s OKC. You can always build around him with confidence. Diagnosis: Very reliable with a high ceiling.

Kevin Durant (at ORL – $9,200): Needs 42.8 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 47.25 fantasy points against Miami. Much like Curry and Thompson, you just know what you’re getting with Durant. The opportunities will be there and it could be his turn to have a big night for the Warriors. His game is fairly reliable and with this being a back-to-back and the Magic being good, this should be a competitive game. He’s reliable if nothing else. Diagnosis: Very reliable with a decent ceiling.

Jimmy Butler (at OKC – $7,200): Needs 32.6 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 34.75 fantasy points against New Orleans. I don’t love Butler’s game in Philly and he’s been all over the place this season, but this is a big matchup and with no Embiid, I would suspect that he’ll assert himself a bit more. Maybe. I really don’t know with Jimmy Butler. At some point he has to break out of his scoring slump, right? Diagnosis: Inconsistent with a good ceiling.
