High Value C

Players costing $6,667 or under

Kyle O’Quinn (vs MIN – $4,600): Needs 21 fantasy points. O’Quinn is back on the bench so his minutes aren’t quite guaranteed but with Sabonis out, he should log something. It’s rough at value center and you’re better off taking one of the top guys or punting on the position and loading up elsewhere. The matchup is good because the Timberwolves have defensive issues. Diagnosis: Inconsistent with a decent ceiling.

Ante Zizic (at NY – $4,300): Needs 19.7 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 9.3 fantasy points against Portland. It’s possible Tristan Thompson returns in this game and if he does, Zizic won’t see the minutes. The return of Kevin Love already cuts into his value a bit. But it’s the Knicks. And if a guy is going to play 20 minutes against the Knicks, chances are he’ll turn in a strong performance. Diagnosis: Fairly reliable with a good ceiling.

Nerlens Noel (vs PHI – $4,000): Needs 18.3 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 18.5 fantasy points against Denver. Noel is getting solid enough minutes and now he has a good matchup with the Sixers and their banged-up frontcourt. And this is Noel’s best chance to to process some revenge against the Sixers. His minutes aren’t guaranteed, which is the only issue. Diagnosis: Fairly reliable with a good ceiling.
