High Salary PG

Players costing over $6,667

Russell Westbrook (vs PHI – $11,600): Needs 50.8 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 45.3 fantasy points against Denver. Westbrook wasn’t his usual self against the Nuggets and that’s probably bad news for the Sixers. The real bad news is that the Sixers don’t have Embiid or Boban, meaning Westbrook should have free drives to the rim. The scoring should be up and he’s always good for rebounds and assists. You can always build around Westbrook with confidence. Diagnosis: Very reliable with a high ceiling.

Chris Paul (vs MIA – $8,700): Needs 38.1 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 36.8 fantasy points against Charlotte. Paul is a reliable number two option next to Harden. He can pick up the scoring load but the assists will be there for him more often than not. It’s a back-to-back for both teams and they had to travel but at least the Rockets are at home. This should be a competitive game and Paul will pull his weight in this matchup. Diagnosis: Very reliable with a good ceiling.

Jamal Murray (vs UTA – $6,800): Needs 29.8 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 32.5 fantasy points against Oklahoma City. Murray has settled into a nice rhythm and now he’s got a good matchup as the Jazz are on a back-to-back and the Nuggets are at home. Denver has been excellent at home this season and I don’t expect that to change in this one. Murray will continue to get it done in this offense as he’s their best and most consistent perimeter player. Diagnosis: Very reliable with a good ceiling.
