High Salary SG

Players costing over $6,667

James Harden (vs MIA – $11,700): Needs 50.5 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 52.1 fantasy points against Charlotte. Paul and Capela being back in the lineup hurts Harden a bit but he’s still James Harden and he can drop 40 on any given night. It’s a back-to-back for both teams but Harden is at home, which helps his case. You can never really go wrong with Harden, even if he’s not shooting the ball well, because he’ll always get his points and chip in with assists and a handful of rebounds and steals. Diagnosis: Reliable with a high ceiling.

Donovan Mitchell (at DEN – $9,000): Needs 38.9 fantasy points. LAST GAME – fantasy points against . It’s a back-to-back for the Jazz and they don’t get an easy matchup with the Nuggets being at home. But someone has to get the tough buckets for Utah and Mitchell has been that option for the entire season. He had 61.2 fantasy points against the Nuggets on Jan. 23. The circumstances are tough but I’m not doubting Mitchell. Diagnosis: Reliable with a high ceiling.

Klay Thompson (at ORL – $7,200): Needs 31.1 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 48.8 fantasy points against Miami. You typically know what you’re getting from Klay. The minutes are going to be there, as are the shots. He can also chip in with assists and maybe a handful or rebounds and steal. Your only other high salary option is Jimmy Butler and good luck trusting Jimmy Butler. His ceiling is high but his floor is much lower. Diagnosis: Very reliable with a good ceiling.
