MIAMI, FL – DECEMBER 22: Dion Waiters /

High Value SG

Players costing $6,667 or under

Dwyane Wade (at HOU – $6,200): Needs 26.8 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 42.9 fantasy points against Golden State. I think Dion Waiters will have a bounce-back performance if you’re looking to save a little money. But I’m not going against Wade. I’ve been saying since the break that he’s going to raise his level of play and he’s continued to do just that. Wade is going to drag this team to the playoffs and probably to the Finals. Yes, I’m that confident in the ability of Wade. The back-to-back is a small red flag. Diagnosis: Reliable with a high ceiling.

Jordan Clarkson (at NY – $5,300): Needs 22.9 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 30 fantasy points against Portland. Aside from a rough outing against the Grizzlies, Clarkson has been a strong performer for the Cavaliers in recent weeks. And now he gets the Knicks. The return of Kevin Love has helped as it opens up the floor for him. The ceiling is high with his scoring. His value can be too tied to his scoring, which is a bit of an issue. Diagnosis: Reliable with a high ceiling.

Dennis Schroder (vs PHI – $5,000): Needs 21.6 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 29.5 fantasy points against Denver. Schroder hasn’t had much of a scoring touch since the break but his DFS numbers are good thanks to sheer volume. The minutes and opportunities are always there for him. And this is a good matchup with the Sixers missing their top two centers and shot blockers. His scoring will return at some point and he’ll hit big. Diagnosis: Reliable with a high ceiling.
