High Salary SF

Players costing over $6,667

Paul George (vs PHI – $11,300): Needs 48.4 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 60.1 fantasy points against Denver. George’s scoring numbers haven’t been great in the last few games but he continues to chip in with rebounds, assists and typically steals. He’ll take the matchup with Butler personal and he’s played too well this season to think this is a prolonged slump and not just a rough couple of games. He’ll hopefully return to form at some point. Diagnosis: Very reliable with a high ceiling.

Kevin Durant (at ORL – $9,400): Needs 40.3 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 46.5 fantasy points against Miami. You typically know what you’re getting with Durant just like you typically know what you’re getting with all of the Warriors. They all put up consistent numbers across the board and there’s a good chance that one of them will have a monster game. Maybe it’ll be Durant against the Magic. If nothing else, he’ll be around value. Diagnosis: Very reliable with a decent ceiling.

Josh Richardson (at HOU – $6,400): Needs 27.4 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 33.5 fantasy points against Golden State. Richardson is under the salary line but the next highest salary on the list. I haven’t been impressed with his game lately but the minutes and opportunities have been there. And he did have 38.7 fantasy points against the Rockets on Dec. 20 if you’re looking for a little bit of confidence in him. Diagnosis: Fairly reliable with a good ceiling.
