Players costing over $6,250

John Collins (vs CHI – $7,000): Needs 33.5 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 43.5 fantasy points against Minnesota. Collins is starting to look more like that player he was earlier in the season and that’s led to some big games for him. This is a good matchup and he should be able to keep it rolling against the Bulls. I still like his game overall and he’s settled back down to a nice salary. Diagnosis: Reliable with a high ceiling.

Deandre Ayton (vs NO – $6,900): Needs 33.3 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 31.5 fantasy points against Miami. Ayton has leveled out recently and hasn’t shown the ceiling he did earlier in the season. But I like this matchup for him because the Pelicans don’t offer much in terms of defense and give up plenty of DFS points to opposing frontcourt players. This is sort of a gut feeling game just due to Ayton’s recent play. Diagnosis: Reliable with a high ceiling.

Montrezl Harrell (at SAC – $6,400): Needs 30.6 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 28 fantasy points against Utah. Harrell isn’t playing huge minutes but he’s playing enough minutes and this is a great matchup for him. He’s averaging 39.7 fantasy points in three games against the Kings this season. The pace will be up and that plays right into Harrell’s game. Diagnosis: Very reliable with a high ceiling.
