Players costing over $6,250

D’Angelo Russell (vs CHA – $8,500): Needs 40.3 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 42.25 fantasy points against Washington. Russell continues his hot streak and until he shows signs of falling off, you can keep taking him. It’s a relatively quiet night as far as superstar players go but Russell has a proven high ceiling and a great matchup. Expect another big performance out of him in this one. Diagnosis: Very reliable with a high ceiling.

Kemba Walker (at BKN – $8,200): Needs 39.7 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 55 fantasy points against Houston. And if you want to save $300 and still get a player who could give you just as much as Russell, you can go with Kemba. This should be a high scoring affair given the pace and defense of both squads. Kemba is averaging 48.8 fantasy points in three games against the Nets this season. Diagnosis: Very reliable with a high ceiling.

Trae Young (vs CHI – $8,100): Needs 39.2 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 62 fantasy points against Minnesota. Trae Young is on one right now and now he gets to go up against the Bulls. The Bulls have been better since the trade but it’s not like they are good and I’m not doubting Young with the run he has been on. I fully expect him to keep it up in this one given just how well he’s played since the break and the matchup. Diagnosis: Very reliable with a high ceiling.
