High Value C

Players costing $6,667 or under

Brook Lopez (at LAL – $6,200): Needs 28.3 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 35.5 fantasy points against Sacramento. I love Brook Lopez on Friday. He’s typically a reliable option because he’s now the best rim protector in the league and he’s also the best 3-point shooting big in the league. And now he gets a revenge game against the Lakers. The opportunities will be there for him and he’ll deliver in this matchup. Diagnosis: Very reliable with a high ceiling.

Willie Cauley-Stein (vs LAC – $5,500): Needs 25.1 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 24.3 fantasy points against Milwaukee. WCS hasn’t been great in recent games but he’s at a good salary based on his minutes and with MB3 out of the lineup, there’s a reason to think that WCS will step up and be better in this game. He had 32.9 fantasy points against the Clippers on Jan. 27 if you’re looking for a little bit of confidence in him. Diagnosis: Fairly reliable with a good ceiling.

Robin Lopez (at ATL – $4,900): Needs 22.4 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 22.1 fantasy points against Memphis. Lopez was down a bit against the Grizzlies but don’t be too concerned. His salary has dropped and he’ll have a big opportunity to bounce back against a good matchup in the Hawks. As long as he continues to get over 30 minutes, he’ll be back over value in this one. Diagnosis: Reliable with a high ceiling.
