High Value PG

Players costing $6,667 or under

Elfrid Payton (at PHO – $6,400): Needs 28.1 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 34.7 fantasy points against LA Lakers. Someone has to get those DFS points for the Pelicans at the point guard position and Payton has been a strong option. He’s playing well right now and this is sort of a revenge game as Payton has a short stint with the Suns. I don’t count last years game since he didn’t play many minutes. Diagnosis: Very reliable with a good ceiling.

Patrick Beverley (at SAC – $5,900): Needs 25.9 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 38.5 fantasy points against Utah. Beverley has been playing well in his last two games and now he has a good matchup against the Kings. The pace will be up and this is a big game when it comes to a potential playoff spot. And Beverley knows how to show up in these big games. He had 44 fantasy points against the Kings on Jan. 27. Diagnosis: Reliable with a high ceiling.

Tyler Johnson (vs NO – $5,700): Needs 25 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 28.7 fantasy points against Miami. Johnson has been playing well for the Suns and now he has a good matchup against the Pelicans, who are disinterested in defense on most nights. If Booker is out, that will increase the opportunities for Johnson. Diagnosis: Very reliable with a good ceiling.
