FanDuel daily picks: Fantasy basketball lineup – March 1, 2019
High Salary SF
Players costing over $6,667
LeBron James (vs MIL – $12,400): Needs 53.1 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 62.25 fantasy points against New Orleans. It’s a big game for LeBron as the Lakers desperately need to follow up a win with another win. It’s a tough matchup but I’m not going to doubt LeBron at this point of the season. It might be a tough matchup but it’s foolish to doubt LeBron, no matter what the matchup is. Diagnosis: Very reliable with a high ceiling.
Giannis Antetokounmpo (at LAL – $11,000): Needs 47.1 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 33.4 fantasy points against Sacramento. Assuming Giannis isn’t on a minutes restriction, it’s a bit surprising that he’s so much lower than LeBron. He’s been a strong option all season and the matchup is much better for Giannis than it is LeBron. The minutes restriction must have really scared the salary makers. But if it comes out that he’ll play his usual load, expect a monster performance. Diagnosis: Very reliable with a high ceiling.
Otto Porter Jr (at ATL – $7,200): Needs 30.8 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 46.7 fantasy points against Memphis. OPJ has been great for the Bulls since the trade and he should continue to be great in this one given the matchup. The scoring numbers will definitely be there and he’ll chip in with a handful of assists and rebounds. Expect a couple of defensive plays as well. Diagnosis: Very reliable with a high ceiling.
