DraftKings daily picks: Fantasy basketball lineup – March 2, 2019
High Salary PG
Players costing over $6,250
Steph Curry (at PHI – $9,100): Needs 43.2 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 53 fantasy points against Orlando. You typically know what you’re getting out of Steph. The minutes and opportunities are always going to be there for him and even though the Warriors don’t care about the regular season, I have a feeling they will care about this game. They don’t want to lose again and they want revenge after losing to the Sixers in Golden State a month ago. Steph at 59 fantasy points in this game. Diagnosis: Very reliable with a high ceiling.
Donovan Mitchell (vs MIL – $7,900): Needs 37.5 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 41.5 fantasy points against Denver. It’s a tough matchup for the Jazz but the Bucks are on a back-to-back and they might rest Giannis, which would be a good sign for the Jazz. But even if Giannis plays, the Jazz are going to need offense and Mitchell is the guy who supplies the majority of their offense. He’s playing very well and should be in for a big night. Diagnosis: Very reliable with a high ceiling.
Brandon Ingram (at PHO – $6,600): Needs 31.3 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 46.5 fantasy points against Milwaukee. It’s possible that Brandon Ingram is never going to miss another shot. Oddly, I almost like Ingram more than LeBron in this game because he’s at a better salary and it’s the Suns. This is a game where LeBron might be able to sit back a bit and let a guy like Ingram go to work. Keep riding the hot hand. Diagnosis: Very reliable with a high ceiling.
