DraftKings daily picks: Fantasy basketball lineup – March 2, 2019
High Salary SG
Players costing over $6,250
Devin Booker (vs LAL – $8,200): Needs 38.9 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 43.5 fantasy points against New Orleans. It’s a back-to-back for both teams but at least the Suns are at home. And this should be an offensive showdown given how these two teams typically play defense. Booker is the best offensive player on the court for the Suns and I trust him to get it done against this Lakers defense. He had 31 fantasy points against them on Jan. 27. Expect a much better game in this one. Diagnosis: Reliable with a high ceiling.
DeMar DeRozan (vs OKC – $7,800): Needs 36 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 49.75 fantasy points against Detroit. DeRozan has been good in three of his last four games, the Spurs are at home and it’s a good matchup against the Thunder. The Thunder defense has fallen off and if Paul George misses this game, that won’t help their defense. DeRozan will get plenty of points and chip in with assists in this one. Diagnosis: Very reliable with a good ceiling.
Jimmy Butler (vs GS – $7,300): Needs 33.7 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 44.5 fantasy points against Oklahoma City. I still don’t like Butler’s game in Philly but he played well against the Thunder and is seeing more opportunities with Embiid out of the lineup. This is a big game and with Simmons not being much of a scorer, they’ll probably lean heavier on Butler to get buckets. Diagnosis: Reliable with a high ceiling.
