DraftKings daily picks: Fantasy basketball lineup – March 2, 2019
High Value SF
Players costing $6,250 or under
Thaddeus Young (vs ORL – $6,000): Needs 28 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 36.25 fantasy points against Minnesota. Hey look, it’s another Indiana Pacer on this list. I told you, these guys are just reliable salary savers. They are all under the salary line, they are all reliable options and they all have good ceilings. And this is a game where multiple players should once again show up in a big way as the Magic play with some pace and the game should be competitive. Young has been strong all season. Diagnosis: Very reliable with a high ceiling.
Terrence Ross (at IND – $5,000): Needs 23.1 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 31.5 fantasy points against Golden State. Ross looked more like himself against the Warriors. He’s always going to be prone to an off night, but he’s been reliable more often than not during this recent run by the Magic. And he had 43.5 fantasy points against the Pacers on Jan. 31. Expect him to keep it going in this one. Diagnosis: Reliable with a high ceiling.
Reggie Bullock (at PHO – $4,700): Needs 21.7 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 9.25 fantasy points against Milwaukee. I continue to like Bullock’s game in Los Angeles. The Bucks game worries me a little bit because his minutes should not have been that low. Luke Walton is weird. But, it’s the Suns. You can always bet against the Suns. Bullock’s value can be tied to his shooting, but he’s shown he can chip in with rebounds. The scoring will be there in this game if he gets the minutes. I also like Marco Belinelli, who never seems to miss against the Thunder. Diagnosis: Reliable with a good ceiling.
