High Salary C

Players costing over $6,667

Nikola Jokic (vs NO – $11,100): Needs 50.6 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 37.1 fantasy points against Utah. It was a rough outing for Jokic against the Jazz but I’m not too concerned. He’s been too good this season and he has a great matchup against the Pelicans. They are on a back-to-back and don’t offer much in terms of defense. Expect a big bounce-back performance out of Jokic. Diagnosis: Very reliable with a high ceiling.

Rudy Gobert (vs MIL – $9,600): Needs 43.7 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 38.1 fantasy points against Denver. Gobert did damage on the defensive end against the Nuggets but I’m expecting more points and rebounds out of him in this one. The Bucks are undersized and on a back-to-back. Gobert can hurt them in a big way with his presence in the paint. Diagnosis: Reliable with a high ceiling.

DeMarcus Cousins (at PHI – $8,500): Needs 38.7 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 40.2 fantasy points against Orlando. No Embiid. No Boban. A lot of Cousins. He continues to play more minutes and the Warriors always make sure he’s involved. And once again, this Warriors might be sleepwalking through games, but I expect them to bring it in this one given the last loss to the Sixers and the fact that they’ve lost their last three. Diagnosis: Very reliable with a high ceiling.
