High Value SF

Players costing $6,667 or under

Bojan Bogdanovic (vs ORL – $6,100): Needs 26 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 50.4 fantasy points against Minnesota. Much like Collison, you just know what you’re getting from Bogdanovic. He had a big game against the Timberwolves and while I wouldn’t expect that on every night from him, you can still expect him to get you value and then some in this game. He’s as steady as they come, especially when the minutes are there. Diagnosis: Very reliable with a good ceiling.

Rudy Gay (vs OKC – $5,600): Needs 23.9 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 18.3 fantasy points against Detroit. Gay has struggled in his last couple of games and his minutes have been down. But I have to trust that he’ll return to form in this game given the matchup. The Thunder defense has fallen off and it definitely doesn’t get any better with Paul George out of the lineup. If you want to save a little money, Davis Bertans is a good option and I like DeMarre Carroll’s game even if it doesn’t always translate to fantasy. Diagnosis: Reliable with a good ceiling.

Will Barton (vs NO – $5,600): Needs 23.9 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 49.1 fantasy points against Utah. Barton continues to look more like myself and that’s a good sign for his value and the Nuggets. And now he has a good matchup against the Pelicans, who are on a back-to-back. And the Nuggets are coming off a loss. They aren’t a team that losses two straight very often. Expect Barton to keep getting it done in this game. Diagnosis: Reliable with a high ceiling.
