High Value PF

Players costing $6,667 or under

Jerami Grant (at SA – $6,000): Needs 26.3 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 33.2 fantasy points against Philadelphia. With Paul George out of the lineup, it’s Jerami Grant who has actually stepped up. He’s a weapon for the Thunder and he’s having a really strong season for them. If they have any hope of pulling off an upset against the Spurs, Grant will have to step up his game once again. He had 46.9 fantasy points in the double OT game against the Spurs earlier this season. Diagnosis: Very reliable with a good ceiling.

Dwight Powell (vs MEM – $6,000): Needs 26.3 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 27.4 fantasy points against Indiana. I typically hate going against the Grizzlies because they play with no pace and it’s tough for teams and plays to have big outings against them because of it. But someone has to get numbers for the Mavericks in their frontcourt and Powell has been that guy since the break. I don’t like the matchup, but he’s at a good salary to where he should at least get you value. Diagnosis: Very reliable with a good ceiling.

Bam Adebayo (vs BKN – $5,200): Needs 22.8 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 29.1 fantasy points against Houston. Adebayo is drawing the start and if Olynyk is going to miss this game, they’ll lean on Adebayo even more. The matchup is a good one as the Nets are weak against the position and they are on a back-to-back. Adebayo should get his Adebayo will get his points, chip in with assists and come ups tie a couple of defensive plays. Diagnosis: Reliable with a high ceiling.
