Players costing $6,250 or under

Joe Ingles (vs NO – $5,500): Needs 25.6 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 33.25 fantasy points against Milwaukee. Ingles has found his rhythm since the break and the Jazz have needed it. The shots are typically there for him and he’s been running more of the offense, creating for others. He’ll also chip in with a couple of rebounds and defensive plays. The Jazz offense should continue to hum against this Pelicans defense. Diagnosis: Very reliable with a high ceiling.

Landry Shamet (at LAL – $4,000): Needs 18.6 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 28.25 fantasy points against New York. We’re going big time salary saving at the guard position. Shamet gets the minutes and plenty of opportunities with the Clippers and this feels like a game where he makes a big impact, thus pissing off the Lakers fandom and have them on Twitter yelling, “We got beat by Landry Shamet?” It’s sort of a gut feeling, but Shamet has proven plenty during his time with the Clippers and he’s not going to hurt you much at this salary. Diagnosis: Reliable with a high ceiling.

Pat Connaughton (at PHO – $3,400): Needs 15.8 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 21.5 fantasy points against Utah. And if you want to save even more money, you can grab Connaughton. As long as the Bucks have no guards to play, Connaughton will continue to get minutes. And he can hit shots. And there are plenty of shots to go around in Milwaukee. And the Bucks are facing the Suns. Just a lot to love about this game for Connaughton. Diagnosis: Reliable with a high ceiling.
