Players costing $6,250 or under

Derrick Favors (vs NO – $5,800): Needs 27.9 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 54 fantasy points against Milwaukee. Favors is on a roll right now and he’s picking up more and more minutes. Keep taking him while he’s playing like this because there’s a chance he falls off at a moments notice given that he’s never proven to be this reliable throughout this past two seasons. The matchup is a good one with the Pelicans lack of defense. Diagnosis: Reliable with a high ceiling.

Bam Adebayo (vs ATL – $5,600): Needs 26.9 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 42 fantasy points against Brooklyn. Adebayo continues to deliver in a big way and now he has a great matchup against the Hawks. I like Adebayo slightly more than Favors just due to the matchup and the fact that Adebayo is $200 cheaper. He should do a bit of everything in this game. Diagnosis: Very reliable with a high ceiling.

Mason Plumlee (at SA – $4,400): Needs 21.2 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 31.25 fantasy points against New Orleans. Plumlee continues to put up big numbers in limited minutes. He can really hurt the Spurs with his presence down low and he’s at a very good salary given his usual production. The Spurs are a tough matchup at home, which is why I’m not quite as high on a lot of Nuggets players, mainly their guards, despite their offense being so good. Diagnosis: Reliable with a high ceiling.
