High Salary PG

Players costing over $6,667

Trae Young (at MIA – $9,200): Needs 40.4 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 25.9 fantasy points against Chicago. Ignore Trae’s last game. He was ejected for looking too hard. Prior to his ejection, just 18 minutes into the game, he was doing Trae Young things. And even though the Heat are a tough matchup, I’m not going against Trae right now. He’s been fantastic during this run and he’s making a case for ROY. Too bad Ben Simmons is gonna win again. Diagnosis: Very reliable with a high ceiling.

De’Aaron Fox (vs NY – $8,400): Needs 36.9 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 28 fantasy points against LA Clippers. The only concern with this one is it potentially being a blowout. But Fox is at a good enough salary to where he should still get his numbers, even in potentially limited minutes. And if the Kings can keep it competitive, that’s even better for his value. He’s been a very strong option since the break. Diagnosis: Very reliable with a good ceiling.

Dennis Smith Jr (at SAC – $7,000): Needs 30.8 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 26.2 fantasy points against LA Clippers. If you have the extra $400, you can go with Eric Bledsoe. He’s playing fantastic and the Bucks are a safe bet. My concern with Bledsoe is that…it’s the Suns. And the Bucks probably won’t need a big game out of him. DSJ is still playing hard on most nights and it’s a good matchup given the Kings pace. Diagnosis: Reliable with a high ceiling.
