High Salary SG

Players costing over $6,667

Donovan Mitchell (vs NO – $9,300): Needs 40.2 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 64.6 fantasy points against Milwaukee. There’s a lot to love in the shooting guard position. You can also take Jrue Holiday in this game, especially if Anthony Davis doesn’t end up playing. But Mitchell has been rolling as well and the Pelicans defense is far worse than the Utah defense. Mitchell will easily get his numbers in this one. Diagnosis: Very reliable with a high ceiling.

Buddy Hield (vs NY – $7,600): Needs 32.9 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 36.9 fantasy points against LA Clippers. Much like with Fox, the only concern I have with Hield is this being a blowout. But he too is at a good salary based on his usual production and even in a blowout, he should be able to get his points and assists. The Knicks don’t play defense and miss a lot of shots., in case you haven’t been paying attention. Diagnosis: Very reliable with a good ceiling.

Lou Williams (at LAL – $7,400): Needs 32 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 31.4 fantasy points against New York. I love everything about Williams in this game. He’s at a good salary compared to the rest of the field and, as I said with Beverley, the Clippers want to end the Lakers. And Williams getting hot and being Lou Williams is their best shot at ending the Lakers. He should be in for a huge night. Diagnosis: Very reliable with a high ceiling.
