High Salary PG

Players costing over $6,250

Kyrie Irving (at GS – $8,800): Needs 42.6 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 43.75 fantasy points against Houston. I don’t know what the Celtics are doing on most nights but I know that Kyrie has been playing well from a DFS perspective and I know he badly wants to beat the Warriors. I don’t think he can do it, especially with the way the Celtics look, but he’s going to play his heart out. I think. I have no idea with the Celtics. Diagnosis: Reliable with a high ceiling.

Ben Simmons (vs ORL – $8,400): Needs 39.7 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 66.25 fantasy points against Golden State. Simmons has started to find his rhythm with Embiid out of the lineup. And Embiid is out for this game, which means more responsibility falls on Simmons. This is a good matchup against the Magic because they’ll make it competitive and Simmons should do a bit of everything. Diagnosis: Very reliable with a high ceiling.

Chris Paul (at TOR – $7,700): Needs 37.2 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 49 fantasy points against Boston. You typically know what you’re getting from Paul. The minutes and opportunities are there for him and he has a high ceiling. But his floor can be lower than you’d like because sometimes James Harden always has the ball or guys miss shots. But Paul is typically good for enough points, plenty of assists, and some rebounds. Diagnosis: Reliable with a high ceiling.
