DraftKings daily picks: Fantasy basketball lineup – March 5, 2019
High Value PG
Players costing $6,250 or under
CJ McCollum (at MEM – $6,000): Needs 28.5 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 19 fantasy points against Charlotte. McCollum has been up-and-down during this road trip. He was down against the Hornets, so if the trend continues, he’ll be back up against the Grizzlies And he typically plays very well against the Grizzlies, last game notwithstanding. And it’s not like the Grizzlies are any good right now. McCollum will bounce back. Diagnosis: Reliable with a high ceiling.
Derrick Rose (vs OKC – $5,200): Needs 24.7 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 24.5 fantasy points against Washington. Rose’s salary has dropped to a nice spot given his usual minutes and recent production. And he has a great matchup as the Thunder defense is not good right now, especially Russell Westbrook. And Ros always seems to play well against Westbrook, dating back to when everyone thought he was washed in Chicago. He’ll look back in form in this one. Diagnosis: Very reliable with a good ceiling.
Delon Wright (vs POR – $4,500): Needs 21.4 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 42 fantasy points against Oklahoma City. If Wright is the starter, you can take him with confidence. He’s going to get big minutes and the Blazers have to be getting tired on this road trip. And really, no one else is going to do much for the Grizzlies, though Bradley has played well. If Wright isn’t the start, you can look towards Augustin, who will get good minutes in what should be a competitive game. Diagnosis: Reliable with a high ceiling.
