High Salary SG

Players costing over $6,250

James Harden (at TOR – $11,100): Needs 52.8 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 63.75 fantasy points against Boston. It’s James Harden against a tough team. He’s going to get all the shots and even though he’s going up against Kawhi, you can expect this game to be close, which means you can expect Harden to play big minutes. I’m not in love with the matchup for Harden and there might be better value elsewhere, but I’m also not going to say “Don’t take Harden” because he’ll then score 50 points. Diagnosis: Reliable with a high ceiling.

Steph Curry (vs BOS – $9,000): Needs 42.8 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 45.5 fantasy points against Philadelphia. The Warriors are back at home and they are welcoming in a mess of a team. The Warriors will get a nice boost from the home crowd and with Klay Thompson likely out for this game, Steph will be an even bigger part of the offense. He always shows up against the Celtics, at least at home. He’ll show up in this one. Diagnosis: Very reliable with a good ceiling.

Zach LaVine (at IND – $7,600): Needs 36.1 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 19.5 fantasy points against Atlanta. LaVine wasn’t good in the rematch against the Hawks and that has a me a little worried about his value against the Pacers. The Pacers are a very tough matchup, but your choices are limited with Butler and Thompson on the injury report. LaVine has shown a very high ceiling, but he’s certainly a risk in this game just based on how good the Pacers are. Diagnosis: Fairly reliable with a high ceiling.
