High Salary PF

Players costing over $6,250

Lauri Markkanen (at IND – $8,200): Needs 39.4 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 39.75 fantasy points against Atlanta. Marrkanen has delivered more often than not for the Bulls during this recent run. And while this is a tough matchup, he’s done very well against the Pacers this season, averaging 42.9 fantasy points in two games against Indy. His salary is much higher than in previous matchups, but he’s also playing better basketball. Expect Markkanen to keep it going. Diagnosis: Very reliable with a good ceiling.

Pascal Siakam (vs HOU – $6,800): Needs 32.7 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 38.75 fantasy points against Detroit. You just know what you’re getting from Siakam on most nights. He had 43 fantasy points against the Rockets on Jan. 25 and it’s a good matchup because the Rockets still have to frontcourt issues. But really this is about Siakam, who is just playing outstanding basketball this season. Diagnosis: Very reliable with a high ceiling.

Al Horford (at GS – $6,300): Needs 30.3 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 29.5 fantasy points against Houston. Surprisingly, I also like Aaron Gordon in this spot. He typically plays very well against the Sixers. And even though the Celtics are a mess, Horford always plays well against the Warriors. He’s averaging 41.8 fantasy points in his last three games against the Warriors. Gordon is probably more reliable just because the Celtics are a mixed bag. But Horford has the higher ceiling. Diagnosis: Fairly reliable with a high ceiling.
