DraftKings daily picks: Fantasy basketball lineup – March 5, 2019
High Value PF
Players costing $6,250 or under
Thaddeus Young (vs CHI – $5,900): Needs 27.6 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 34.5 fantasy points against Orlando. Hey look, it’s another Pacer. Once again, the Pacers play a reliable game and they get the Bulls. Young’s scoring might be down, but his rebounding is there and he’s picking up more assists. He’ll also chip in with a couple of defensive plays. You can always add him as a nice salary saver. Diagnosis: Very reliable with a good ceiling.
Draymond Green (vs BOS – $5,600): Needs 26.9 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 36.75 fantasy points against Philadelphia. It’s surprising that Draymond’s salary drops despite the team he’s on. With Klay out, Draymond has to do a bit more in running the offense. He’ll never score much, but the rebounds and assists will typically be there for him. And he’ll be a guy who feeds off the energy being back in Golden State. He also typically plays well against the Celtics. Diagnosis: Very reliable with a good ceiling.
Jerami Grant (at MIN – $5,300): Needs 25.2 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 30.25 fantasy points against Memphis. If Paul George is out, you can take Grant with confidence. Especially at this salary. Grant has to do a bit more with George out of the lineup and he certainly gets more opportunities to do so. The matchup is good as these games are always competitive and the Timberwolves don’t exactly play a ton of defense. As long as George is out, you can take him with confidence. If George plays, he’s still reliable at this salary. Diagnosis: Very reliable with a good ceiling.
