Drew Lock. 10. player. 45. . Quarterback. Missouri

The Denver Broncos made a bit of a splash prior to the 2019 NFL Scouting Combine, as they agreed with the Baltimore Ravens to trade for Joe Flacco. While he is a Super Bowl MVP, Flacco has not looked like the same quarterback since that run, and the Broncos are likely just using him as a stopgap until the take another swing at a franchise guy.

The funny thing is, the Broncos now have two stopgap quarterback on the roster, as they signed Case Keenum to a deal during the 2018 offseason. Still, despite all of those arms on the roster, John Elway still does not have his long-term solution at the position, and he may use the No. 10 overall pick to get it.

Enter Drew Lock, who the Broncos have been rumored to be enamored with heading into the 2019 NFL Draft. Lock ended his final season at Missouri playing some of the better football of his career, and during his time with the Tigers, he proved he could put up good number against solid SEC defenses.

Denver should have one of the better defenses in football once again next season, and they have some solid young playmakers on the offensive side of the ball. They are a couple of pieces away from being a playoff caliber team, and while quarterback many not be an immediate need, look for Elway to pull the trigger on another first round quarterback in April.
