Heading into the 2019 NFL season, the Cleveland Browns are going to be one of the more exciting teams to keep an eye on. While I wait for that to settle in, yes the Browns are going to be an exciting team, and dare I say it, even should be in the running to make it to the playoffs this year.

During the 2018 NFL Draft, the Browns decided to hang on to their early draft capital, and their two early picks certainly paid off. Baker Mayfield, who the team took as the No. 1 overall pick, showed he is a franchise quarterback, and No. 4 pick, Denzel Ward, excelled at the cornerback spot.

In the first round in 2019, the Browns should once again bring in the best cornerback in the draft class, and Greedy Williams could be available to them at No. 17 overall. Williams is fresh off showing blazing speed at the NFL scouting combine, and teaming him with Ward would give the Browns an elite duo at cornerback for the next five years at least.

Cleveland is going to be one of the teams in the mix to win the AFC North, as they nearly made it to the playoffs last season. It will be interesting to see how first-year head coach Freddie Kitchens does next season, but they have an unquestioned leader on the field in Mayfield, and bright times are coming for the Browns for sure.
