Oklahoma. Marquise Brown. 22. player. 26. . Wide Receiver

During the 2018 NFL Draft, the Baltimore Ravens traded back into the first round to take Louisville quarterback Lamar Jackson with the No. 32 overall pick. Expected to play behind Joe Flacco during his rookie season, Jackson was pressed into action when Flacco went down due to injury, and actually led the team to first place in the AFC North.

While the team would see their season end at home in the Wild Card round, the organization had seen enough of Jackson to name him their franchise quarterback moving forward. In fact, Baltimore has agreed to trade Flacco to the Denver Broncos for the 2019 season, as the look to build around Jackson.

With the No. 22 overall pick in April, Baltimore should look to add a weapon in the passing game, and Marquise Brown from Oklahoma should be a first round pick. Baltimore has already released Michael Crabtree, leaving a gaping hole in the wide receiver group, so Brown makes a lot of sense for the Ravens this late in round one.

If the Ravens want Jackson to succeed, they have to put him in the best position possible, especially early in his career. Brown is a guy who should come in and make a serious impact at the NFL level in year one, and he certainly would have one of the more dynamic quarterbacks in the NFL getting him the ball.
