Offensive Lineman. Alabama. Jonah Williams. 23. player. 10.

The Houston Texans 2018 season can be described as quite the roller coaster, as they were one of the hotter teams in football for most of the season. After winning nine straight games, Houston locked up first place in the AFC South, only to see their season end in the Wild Card round to a divisional rival.

In that Wild Card round, the Texans lost to Andrew Luck and the Indianapolis Colts, who would see their season end the following week at Kansas City. Still, it was a shocking loss for the Texans, who will now have to figure out a way to get better on both sides of the ball, and should start with their offensive line.

Houston has an elite quarterback talent in Deshaun Watson, but he takes way too many hits, and that is going to affect him down the line. Watson also makes plays happen with his legs, so if you can mitigate how much he  gets hit when in the pocket, it should go a long way in preserving his shelf life in the NFL.

When it comes to this draft class, Alabama left tackle Jonah Williams is one of the crown jewel when it comes to offensive linemen, and would be a perfect fit in Houston. Some feel he could be an All-Pro if he moves to guard, but this Texans line needs help up and down the unit, and Williams makes a lot of sense at No. 23 overall.
