4. Tampa Bay Buccaneers

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers made a big move at the head coaching position, bringing Bruce Arians out of retirement, after a one-year stint in the broadcast booth. Arians is a major upgrade over Dirk Koetter as the head man on the sidelines, and you have to believe he is going to get this franchise moving in the right direction.

While a lot of the attention will be on the offensive side of the ball, where Arians has to get Jameis Winston’s career back on track, there is no doubt that the defense needs a lot of work. Sure, there are some solid players on that side of the ball, but the potential loss of Kwon Alexander to free agency has to be of the utmost concern for this team.

If Alexander does decide to test free agency, and leaves the Bucs, Tampa Bay will be in big for the services of C.J. Mosley. Mosley would be an upgrade over Alexander, who has been injury-plagued during his time in Tampa Bay, and would step in and be the kind of leader on this Bucs defense that they have been lacking.

Tampa Bay needs help in the secondary, but they are solid up front, and a strong middle linebacker like Mosley will only help their defensive line. The NFC South is going to be loaded again next season, and if you cannot defend well, teams like the Carolina Panthers, New Orleans Saints, and Atlanta Falcons will pick you apart.
