High Value C

Players costing $6,250 or under

Dwight Powell (at WAS – $5,900): Needs 28.5 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 38.5 fantasy points against Brooklyn. Powell continues to play excellent basketball as a member of the starting lineup and he remains just under the salary line. The matchup is a good one as the Wizards, as much as I like some of their offensive talent, don’t offer anything on defense. Diagnosis: Very reliable with a high ceiling.

Willie Cauley-Stein (vs BOS – $5,800): Needs 28 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 29.25 fantasy points against New York. WCS’ minutes were down against the Knicks because why would anyone need to play big minutes against the Knicks? They should be back up against the Celtics, although the Celtics are dangerously close to reaching Knicks territory. Just kidding. But with MB3 out, I continue to like WCS because he’s seeing more minutes and opportunities. Diagnosis:

Robin Lopez (vs PHI – $5,000): Needs 24.2 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 38.75 fantasy points against Indiana. Lopez continues to put up huge numbers for the Bulls and with the Sixers still being undersized, there is no reason to doubt him in this matchup. There’s not a ton to like with the Bulls overall, but Lopez is certainly someone to like right now. He’s been delivering in a big way for them. Diagnosis: Very reliable with a high ceiling.
