DraftKings daily picks: Fantasy basketball lineup – March 6, 2019
High Salary PF
Players costing over $6,250
Blake Griffin (vs MIN – $8,600): Needs 41.3 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 37.75 fantasy points against Toronto. Griffin has been right 37 fantasy points in his last three games but I like this to be one of his bigger games. The Timberwolves are on a back-to-back and they’ve had to travel to Detroit. And the Timberwolves aren’t a very good team in the first place. Meanwhile, the Pistons are playing very good basketball right now and we know Griffin has a high ceiling. Diagnosis: Very reliable with a high ceiling.
Julius Randle (vs UTA – $8,400): Needs 40.3 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 53.5 fantasy points against Utah. With Davis playing less, Randle continues to prove just how good he is. Once again, the matchup is tough because the Jazz are an excellent team, but Randle has dealt with two straight tough matchups and has been outstanding. And really, he’s been outstanding all season as long as Davis hasn’t played. And Davis is pretty much done for this year. Diagnosis: Very reliable with a high ceiling.
Kevin Love (at BKN – $7,500): Needs 36 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 39.5 fantasy points against Orlando. Love continues to play more and more minutes and even in his limited minutes, he’s been very reliable since returning to the lineup. The matchup is a good one as the Nets do have some frontcourt issues against DFS problems. And Love is simply the best player on the court for a bad Cavaliers team. There’s nothing better than very good players getting a bunch of numbers on bad teams. Diagnosis: Very reliable with a good ceiling.
