High Salary SF

Players costing over $6,667

LeBron James (vs DEN – $12,700): Needs 54.2 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 49.6 fantasy points against LA Clippers. LeBron needs a big game and with Kuzma and possibly Ingram out, he’s surrounded by not so great players. If only the Lakers didn’t sign a bunch of useless veterans in the offseason with the idea to play LeBron at center. He feels like a big bust factor if he’s completely checked out. But I’m also not in the business of doubting LeBron. Diagnosis: Reliable with a high ceiling.

Kelly Oubre Jr (vs NY – $7,700): Needs 32.9 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 54.1 fantasy points against Milwaukee. Now, if you want someone more reliable who could potentially give you the same production as LeBron, you can go with Oubre. He’s been good more often than not as a member of the Suns and he gets the Knicks. Oubre has also shown a high ceiling. Diagnosis: Very reliable with a high ceiling.

Justise Winslow (at CHA – $6,900): Needs 29.4 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 36.5 fantasy points against Atlanta. You can also look at Richardson in this spot. Richardson is the more reliable player at this point but Winslow has a higher ceiling in my mind. Winslow also comes at a more affordable price. The pace will be up and Winslow can do a bit of everything. He’ll get you value if nothing else. Diagnosis: Very reliable with a good ceiling.
