High Value PF

Players costing $6,667 or under

Bam Adebayo (at CHA – $5,400): Needs 23.8 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 18.7 fantasy points against Atlanta. I’m a little torn between Adebayo and Olynyk. The Heat rotation can be all over the place but Adebayo is starting and I like this matchup against the Hornets frontcourt. Olynyk is probably a bit more reliable, but Adebayo has the higher ceiling. Minutes being there are a concern, while that’s not quite the case with Olynyk, who should get the minutes. Diagnosis: Reliable with a high ceiling.

Marvin Williams (vs MIA – $5,400): Needs 23.8 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 23.9 fantasy points against Portland. You typically know what you’re getting from Williams. He’s a reliable option who always gets the minutes. His scoring hasn’t been there lately, but he finds ways to make up the value. They’ll need him to step up if they want to beat Miami. Diagnosis: Reliable with a good ceiling.

Harry Giles III (vs BOS – $4,700): Needs 20.7 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 24.4 fantasy points against New York. If you’ve been reading lately, you’ll know that I’ve been high on HG3 ever since the injury to MB3. He hasn’t quite taken Bagley’s minutes, but he continues to play good minutes and provide great energy off the bench. Energy could be an issue for the Celtics. Diagnosis: Reliable with a good ceiling.
