High Salary SG

Players costing over $6,250

Khris Middleton (vs IND – $6,300): Needs 29.2 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 22.75 fantasy points against Phoenix. Middleton wasn’t good against the Suns and while that’s usually a warning flag, I’m willing to chalk it up to the end of a long road trip and the Bucks not having a reason to try hard. They’ll be better against the Pacers. Especially Middleton. Diagnosis: Reliable with a good ceiling.

CJ McCollum (vs OKC – $6,100): Needs 28.9 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 35.5 fantasy points against Memphis. McCollum has been up-and-down in recent weeks. He was up against the Grizzlies so if the trend holds, he’ll be better in this one. And I don’t trust the Thunder defense at all right now. Diagnosis: Reliable with a high ceiling.

High Value SG

Players costing $6,250 or under

Bojan Bogdanovic (at MIL – $6,000): Needs 27.8 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 41.5 fantasy points against Chicago. As I’ve been saying about the Pacers for a couple of weeks now, they just have a lot of good players at good salaries who deliver and then some. The Bucks will be their toughest matchup but the Pacers are scrappy. Diagnosis: Very reliable with a high ceiling.

Wesley Matthews (at MIL – $4,300): Needs 19.9 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 21.75 fantasy points against Chicago. It’s another member of the Pacers. Remember what I was saying about them just having a bunch of reliable players? Matthews gets the minutes and he’s at a very good salary given those minutes and his usual production. Diagnosis: Very reliable with a good ceiling.
