DraftKings daily picks: Fantasy basketball lineup – March 7, 2019
High Salary C
Players costing over $6,250
Jusuf Nurkic (vs OKC – $6,700): Needs 32.5 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 37 fantasy points against Memphis. Nurkic has been good more often than not recently and he’s at a good salary given his usual production against the Thunder. He was down in the last game against OKC, but there is plenty of reason to think he’ll bounce back. Diagnosis: Very reliable with a good ceiling.
Myles Turner (at MIL – $6,200): Needs 30 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 41.75 fantasy points against Chicago. Turner looked more like himself in the last game but it was against the Bulls. The Bucks are a much tougher matchup and I’m still concerned that Turner isn’t all the way back in form. But the minutes and opportunities will certainly be there. Diagnosis: Fairly reliable with a high ceiling.
High Value C
Players costing $6,250 or under
Steven Adams (at POR – $5,900): Needs 28.6 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 37.75 fantasy points against Minnesota. Adams has been better in recent outings and he’s at a good salary. But the Thunder scheme against the Blazers doesn’t allow Adams to do a whole lot, which can be concerning. He had just 15.25 fantasy points against them on Feb. 11. Diagnosis: Inconsistent with a good ceiling.
Brook Lopez (vs IND – $5,300): Needs 25.7 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 17.5 fantasy points against Phoenix. Lopez has been up-and-down but the minutes and opportunities are always there for him. And the Pacers are a good matchup. Really, the matchup doesn’t matter with the way Lopez and the Bucks play. Diagnosis: Reliable with a high ceiling.
