High Salary SF

Players costing over $6,667

Giannis Antetokounmpo (vs IND – $12,500): Needs 53.1 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 48.6 fantasy points against Phoenix. Giannis was down against the Suns but I’m still not concerned. Giannis is Giannis. And this is a big game where he can make his MVP case on national TV. That stuff matters. Giannis knows it matters. And Giannis probably won’t be happy with the recent performances. Diagnosis: Very reliable with a high ceiling.

Bojan Bogdanovic (at MIL – $7,700): Needs 32.7 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 40.7 fantasy points against Chicago. For once, I’m staying away from Paul George. He just doesn’t look right with the shoulder injury and his salary is too high. Of course he’ll like score 100 fantasy points now. But Bogdanovic is a more reliable option right now and has a good ceiling. He can do a bit of everything and he’ll pick up his game in this matchup. Diagnosis: Very reliable with a good ceiling.

High Value SF

Players costing $6,667 or under

Maurice Harkless (vs OKC – $6,000): Needs 25.5 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 36.7 fantasy points against Memphis. Harkless has continues to play very well for the Blazers. And the Thunder are a reeling group right now. His salary has jumped but he’s a role player who will step up in this matchup. Diagnosis: Very reliable with a good ceiling.

Nikola Mirotic (vs IND – $5,500): Needs 23.4 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 29.4 fantasy points against Phoenix. Mirotic looked more settled against the Suns, but that was the Suns. The Pacers are a tougher matchup but I still like Mirotic’s fit on the Bucks. He’ll continue to get the shots and start to look more comfortable as things go along. Diagnosis: Reliable with a good ceiling.
