High Salary SG

Players costing over $6,250

James Harden (vs PHI – $11,000): Needs 52.1 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 47.75 fantasy points against Toronto. I love the matchup because the Sixers defense inspires no confidence right now. But this feels more like a Chris Paul night than a James Harden night. At the same time, I can never say don’t take Harden because just when you think he’s going to have a rough night, he ends up with 100 fantasy points. Diagnosis: Reliable with a high ceiling.

Bradley Beal (at CHA – $9,500): Needs 44.2 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 50.75 fantasy points against Dallas. But on this night, I actually like Beal better. He’s been fantastic this whole season and his ceiling, while not as high as Harden’s, is more reliable. If that makes any sense. He also saves you plenty of money to spend elsewhere. He’s deliver in this matchup because it’s a good matchup and he’s delivered all season. Diagnosis: Very reliable with a high ceiling.

Lou Williams (vs OKC – $6,800): Needs 32.2 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 32.75 fantasy points against LA Lakers. Williams has been giving you at least value over the last week but you should expect more from him in this matchup. The Thunder defense isn’t great right now and they are on a back-to-back. Williams remains the best scoring and playmaking option with big game ability. Diagnosis: Very reliable with a high ceiling.
