DraftKings daily picks: Fantasy basketball lineup – March 8, 2019
High Salary PF
Players costing over $6,250
Kevin Durant (vs DEN – $8,900): Needs 41.8 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 23 fantasy points against Boston. Durant, and really no one on the Warriors, will be as bad against the Nuggets as they were against the Celtics. They are too good, at least offensively, to struggle in the same manner. The Warriors have to show a little desperation at some point, right? If they don’t show it against the Nuggets, who are challenging them for the top seed, then we may as well skip to the playoffs with them. Diagnosis: Very reliable with a decent ceiling.
Pascal Siakam (at NO – $7,000): Needs 33.7 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 35.5 fantasy points against Houston. Siakam has been a reliable option all season and with Ibaka back in the starting lineup, he’s back with his partner who has caused a lot of damage for teams this season. The matchup is a good one as the Pelicans are weak everywhere and without Jrue Holiday, their best player. Diagnosis: Very reliable with a good ceiling.
Montrezl Harrell (vs OKC – $6,300): Needs 30.4 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 34.75 fantasy points against LA Lakers. Harrell has settled into a nice rhythm in the past couple of weeks and now he has a great matchup against the Thunder, who are on a back-to-back and just haven’t looked right since the break. The Clippers are now fighting for playoff position, which makes them a dangerous squad. His energy is going to hurt a Thunder team who may have tired legs. Diagnosis: Very reliable with a good ceiling.
