FanDuel daily picks: Fantasy basketball lineup – March 8, 2019
High Value C
Players costing $6,667 or under
Robin Lopez (vs DET – $5,800): Needs 26.2 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 30.3 fantasy points against Philadelphia. Until Robin Lopez shows he’s not the best center in the league, you can keep taking him with confidence. He’ll get big minutes no matter what but they should especially be there against this matchup and the duo of Drummond and Griffin. He’s been fantastic during the last month or so and I’ll continue to take him. Diagnosis: Very reliable with a good ceiling.
Joakim Noah (vs UTA – $5,700): Needs 25.7 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 35.5 fantasy points against Portland. Who would have thought Noah and Lopez would be the two best centers in the league at the start of the season? Aside from a rough outing against the Thunder, Noah has been great and should continue to get it done here. It’s not a great matchup but someone has to get these numbers for the Grizzlies and Noah has been that guy, looking more energized in a long time. Diagnosis: Reliable with a good ceiling.
Ivica Zubac (vs OKC – $5,200): Needs 23.5 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 13.35 fantasy points against LA Lakers. Zubac wasn’t great against his former team and that’s a little concerning, but he should bounce back against a Thunder team on a back-to-back. He also played very well against them as a member of the Lakers, scoring 37.9 fantasy points on Jan. 17. Steven Adams just has trouble with white centers whose last name ends with a C. It’s a thing. Just trust me. Diagnosis: Reliable with a high ceiling.
