High Salary C

Players costing over $6,250

Karl-Anthony Towns (vs WAS – $10,400): Needs 50.7 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 34.5 fantasy points against Detroit. Towns was down against the Pistons but he had been on a roll before that and should be able to bounce back in this game given the opponent. The Wizards won’t have an answer for him in the paint and he should have no issue getting his points and rebounds on a likely tired Wizards squad. Diagnosis: Very reliable with a high ceiling.

Jusuf Nurkic (vs PHO – $7,000): Needs 34.1 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 44.75 fantasy points against Oklahoma City. Surprisingly, Turkic hasn’t been that great against the Suns this season, averaging just 31.1 fantasy points in two games. But they are still the Suns. And Nurkic can put up good points in the paint and plenty of rebounds. And I just like the Blazers circumstances in tis game. Diagnosis: Very reliable with a good ceiling.

Deandre Ayton (at POR – $6,500): Needs 31.7 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 17 fantasy points against New York. Ayton didn’t play many minutes against the Knicks and really didn’t have to do anything as Booker did all the heavy lifting. I suspect Ayton will do a bit more in this game. He had 28.25 fantasy points in 28 minutes against the Blazers on Dec. 6. It’s a tough matchup but the minutes and opportunities will be there. Diagnosis: Reliable with a good ceiling.
