High Value SG

Players costing $6,250 or under

Kelly Oubre Jr (at POR – $6,200): Needs 28.8 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 31 fantasy points against New York. Oubre Jr continues to deliver strong performance for the Suns and even though the Blazers would seem to be a tough matchup, it’s one he’s done very well against this season. In three games against the Blazers, he’s averaging 39.2 fantasy points. This is just his matchup. Diagnosis: Very reliable with a high ceiling.

Nicolas Batum (at MIL – $5,700): Needs 26.5 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 31.5 fantasy points against Washington. Batum has been playing well and is coming off a strong game on Friday. It’s a back-to-back for the Hornets and the Bucks are the toughest matchup in the league but Batum can do a bit of everything and I like the way he’s playing right now. Diagnosis: Reliable with a high ceiling.

Alex Caruso (vs BOS – $3,000): Needs 14.2 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 27 fantasy points against Denver. I would suspect that Caruso will continue to play more minutes with the Lakers transitioning to play their young guys instead of their useless veterans. Sorry, Lance. This isn’t a guarantee by any means, but it definitely looks like the direction. He won’t hurt you much at this salary, especially if he does get those minutes. Diagnosis: Reliable with a high ceiling.
