High Salary PF

Players costing over $6,250

John Collins (vs BKN – $7,200): Needs 34.7 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 34.5 fantasy points against San Antonio. Collins has played well in his last four games and his salary has dropped to a better level than it was a few weeks ago. I like this matchup for him and with Dedmon out, he’ll be the top guy in the frontcourt. He’s has some monster games against the Nets this season, going over 42 fantasy points in both contests. Diagnosis: Very reliable with a high ceiling.

Al Horford (at LAL – $6,600): Needs 31.8 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 49.75 fantasy points against Sacramento. Horford has been all over the place this season but the Lakers won’t have an answer for him. Horford should be able to do a bit of everything in this matchup given the state of the Lakers right now. The minutes might be the only concern as the Celtics go small to match whatever the Lakers end up doing. Who knows what the Lakers are doing. Diagnosis: Reliable with a good ceiling.

Jayson Tatum (at LAL – $6,000): Needs 28.2 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 32.75 fantasy points against Sacramento. We dip below the salary line as it’s a rough night at the power forward position. Tatum looks to be back in rhythm but we’ve seen this from him before. The good news is that he gets the Lakers, a matchup where he should continue to stay in rhythm. Tatum should get his scoring and rebounding numbers in this one. Diagnosis: Very reliable with a good ceiling.
