High Value PF

Players costing $6,250 or under

Bobby Portis (at MIN – $5,700): Needs 27.5 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 41.75 fantasy points against Charlotte. Portis was up against the Hornets because the trend said he was going to be up. But now the trend says he’s going to be down. He’s been extremely hot and cold over the past two weeks and even though I like this matchup, I can’t get over this trend. He’s really a big boom or bust guy right now. Diagnosis: Fairly reliable with a high ceiling.

Rodions Kurucs (at ATL – $4,600): Needs 21.6 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 26.75 fantasy points against Cleveland. Kurucs has been playing well since exerting the starting lineup and now he has a very good matchup against the Hawks. The minutes are definitely there for him right now and he can do plenty of his scoring and rebounding. He’s also at a very good salary given his usual minutes. Diagnosis: Very reliable with a good ceiling.

Jeff Green (at MIN – $4,500): Needs 21.7 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 16.25 fantasy points against Charlotte. Green’s role has diminished with the additions of Portis and Parker but he’s still getting minutes and that counts for something, especially at this salary. And I continue to like this matchup nd it should produce plenty of offense and DFS stars on both sides of the court. He should get you value if noting else. Diagnosis: Very reliable with a decent ceiling.
